"A special escape"

 Program 1 Day:

Friday, Saturday, Sunday or Monday

The itinerary starts at the port of Rafina (30 km from Athens) to the port of Marmari (about 1hr).

8:30 am: departure of the ship.

9:30 am: Arrival to Marmari. Departure to the site VIVARTE Nature by minibus to the northeast and the Aegean Sea (22km, 12 milles).        

The minibus take us up to the village of Giannitsi, we walking along gentle panoramic mountain road 4,5 Km( 3milles)  a dramatic coastline from where we can enjoy beautiful views of the Aegean Sea.  En route we visit the small traditional greek chapels Aghios Nikolaos, Analipsis.

Part I

11:30 a.m.: Arrival at the Park

Walk to encounter sculptures exhibited in nature and other artistic works. Alongside this hike there will be an open debate "man, art and nature".

1:45 p.m.: Tasting of local products and relaxing time in the shade of olive trees.

Part II

03:30 p.m.: Walk to discover the «Mythic Forest ". A space created by artists and inspired by Greek mythology related to nature, the importance of the ancient myths and their semiology. A meeting with the primary gods, nymphs, heroes: Demeter and Persephone, Narcissus and Echo, the Hesperides, Pan, Prometheus…. Visit of an exhibition in the forest with large photographs outdoor.

04:30 p.m.: Discovery of scents through color. Awakening the senses and the emotions, interpretation of flavors in color: olfaction using paper’s sticks of essential oils from Greek nature (plants as oregano, pine, fennel, sage ...). a journey into the world of fragrances, colors, memories and feelings.  

18:00 Debrief of the day around a drink (“aperitif)”.

In the afternoon we take the minibus back to Marmari

Preparing for the tour, walking shoes, sunscreen, hats, and camera.

You are moderately fit and possess a spirit of adventure. Some previous experience is required for most activity based trips.

This is a small group guided journey. The group is usually between 6 and 15 in size, with an average of 12 like-minded clients booking individually, in a couple or as friends together.
